OLD FAVOURITE

Cucumber and organic birch Body Oil, Björk & Berries.

To my dispair I recently found out that one of my favourite body oils from Björk & Berries is no longer in production. Such a shame! They have other scents, of course, but none of them are as nice as this one. Well, in my opinion that is. So, the other day when entering my yoga class I spotted this old favourite at my yoga teacher’s studio. Lucky me!

Céline Resort

Really like the Resort collection for Céline 2016. Beautiful mind cut-out pieces, like the dress worn by Frederikke Sofie as seen above.

SNAPS FROM BARCELONA

1

Before leaving. Wearing jeans from Frame Denim, knit from T by Alexander Wang, jacket from Zara, shoes from Weejuns, scarf from Prada.

2

Shooting outside the beautiful Parc de la Ciutadella.

3

And by the sea..

4

..and by the pool of a absolutely beautiful house outside Barcelona.

5

Drinking my favourite water.

6

20 degrees celsius ftw.

7

Eating pimientos de Padron at La Flauta.

8

An hour by the pool after being hit by the worst food poisoning of my life (not from the pimientos though, haha) and before leaving for work in Paris.

WISHFUL THINKING

Ballerina flats from Céline.

Hermès

Backstage at Hermès Spring 2016 – spotting some really nice suede pieces, a lot of elegant all white looks, red stripes, big necklaces as seen below and of course, great tailoring. See full collection here.

POSTCARD FROM PARIS

Strolling around in Les Tuiliers.

Hi from Paris! I’ve had a couple of weeks of intense work in Barcelona and Paris, shooting some exciting work which I can’t wait to share. I’m actually starting to get used to travelling around, not being home for longer periods of time. At least when it’s for doing this type of work.  I think it’s such a blessing being able to do what I do in different parts of the world, meeting new people, exploring more of my own visions..as well as others. Yesterday I actually had some time off and made sure to visit Atelier Brancusi, showcasing some of the most beautiful sculptures from Constantin Brancusi, for example you can take a closer look at the piece Leda, which I think is beautiful. Just to mention one..

Anyways, it just made me think of how fortunate I am to get all these opportunities. And how, in the words of Brancusi himself, “life is fermentation and must be transformed in order to remain alive”.
